Touted as what could be the “largest collection of [pinball] machines in Georgia,” Atlanta Pinball Museum would be situated in West Midtown in a 70,000-square-foot1.43-acre building.

“As soon as we reach our Kickstarter goal we can secure a lease and announce the location,” Hightower Friday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

In addition to a collection of pinball machines that is “constantly growing,” Atlanta Pinball Museum would offer a “modern lounge area” and cafe with “local beers and wine.”

Admission would be $20 per person which includes unlimited “free-play,” Hightower said.

Note in the risks and challenges section of the Kickstarter where they say they will open to the public anyway if the goal is not reached, but there will be setbacks of course.

Crowdfunding will allow us to open debt free so we can continue to grow the collection until it is complete. If we don’t meet our goal we will open to the public as planned and skip the 30 days of members only. We will also have to make loan payments which will slow down the purchasing of pinball machines. If you take a friend 25 times the membership is paid for. After that its free pinball for life!! Help bring pinball to Atlanta in a Big way.
