Maybe now it won’t suck. [STAR WARS Data East]

Star Wars by Data East is all about shooting the ramp. Yes, I know Multiball is fun, and shooting the Death star for a double jackpot is cool. But, why do that when you can just shoot the ramp again. Eventually, the ramp can be worth 99 million points, if you shoot it enough.

Unfortunately, it’s another example of a one-shot game with a repetitive shot strategy.

What’s this?! There has been an update to the Data East Star Wars software?! Maybe now the game won’t suck. PinballCode.com has the software update and all of the details on how it is supposed to make the game better.

Seeing that this update was supported by STERN gives me a sliver of hope that Wheel of Fortune could get finished. Might that ever happen?
