Multimorphic Press Release – December 1st, 2017

Multimorphic Press Release – December 1st, 2017

Production run #1 is complete, Run #2 is underway.

Production progress and Rob Anthony joins the Multimorphic support team

There are now P3s on 3 continents, in 5 countries, in many customers’ homes, and on multiple locations (Coin-Op Game Room in Sacramento, CA and Buffalo Billiards in Austin, TX).

Production run #1 is complete, and we’ve begun building sub-assemblies for run #2 machines. Many sub-assemblies are unchanged from run #1, but others have undergone some minor changes based on feedback from existing customers. We’re also continuing to improve our production processes to reduce build times and improve outgoing quality to hopefully eliminate all of the issues first run customers have seen. Unsurprisingly, each production run encounters its own set of new issues to resolve, but we’ll have run #2 machines rolling off the line shortly.

With our customer base for P3s and P-ROC/P3-ROC control system products continuing to grow, we’re expanding our customer support team to ensure all of our customers get their questions answered and any issues resolved as quickly as possible. Our newest support team member, Rob Anthony, joins representatives from our hardware, software, and mechanical teams. Rob’s 35+ years of experience operating and maintaining machines, his passion for the P3 and what it means for the pinball industry, and his dedication to improving customer experiences make him an ideal fit for our team. We’re excited to have him on board, helping customers, and helping us continue to improve the quality of our products. To contact the Multimorphic support team, please email support@multimorphic.com or use the issue tracking system on our support page.

Internal development activities remain focused on 3 primary goals:

1) Improving customer experiences – This includes fixing bugs and adding features to existing games, applications, and control system boards and making it easier for customers to maintain their machines and access support information.

2) Developing new games and game features

3) Supporting 3rd-party developers and making it easier for them to make games for the P3

One thing we find particularly interesting is how diverse the feedback is regarding P3 games. Some people love traditional-style games like Lexy LightspeedEscape From Earth, while others are discovering the fun-factor of games like Cannon Lagoon, ROCs, and Barnyard. Hearing feedback from customers that the P3 is the only pinball machine in their collection that their children enjoy validates our development strategies and bodes well for the future of pinball. If there’s one thing on which everyone in the pinball industry can agree, it’s that people have widely varying tastes. So we’ll continue developing a wide variety of games and focusing on ways of making pinball fun for everybody.

After sold-out production run #2 is complete in early 2018, we’ll start shipping machines to order. If you want to reserve a spot in the order queue, you can do so with a $1000 deposit on our P3 Deposit Product Page.

Thank you all for your continued support and interest. Developing and now shipping the P3 is a dream come true for us, and seeing people enjoying their machines justifies all of our hard work.
