No One Wants to Talk About Competitive Pinball: Circuits

Erik Swedlund writes about how being “on the circuit” helped continue his enthusiasm for competitive pinball.

Just making it through the whole event (at The Sanctum) (receiving, as we all did, a medal for endurance) and knowing I was now, however slightly, “on the circuit,” represented a major step in my feelings about myself as a competitive pinball player. I bought a PAPA Circuit t-shirt as another commemoration of that; I would not have felt comfortable wearing such a shirt before I actually played in a circuit event, even as a huge fan.
