As it was last year, so it shall be once more.
January 3rd through 10th, pinball games will once again be a part of Awesome Games Done Quick. AGDQ is a charity event where players attempt to accomplish difficult gaming achievements using the shortest amount of time possible.
This time AGDQ are taking over the whole hotel venue, which remains the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel, located in Herndon, Virginia.
Check out my post for last year’s event to see the gist of what will happen. It’s just going to be bigger and better this year!
If you would like to help out with funding the efforts of those pinballers who are setting up the pinball portion of the Awesome Games Done Quick event, there is an Indegogo page setup for donations.
Although I cannot be there for the entire week-long event, I will be in attendance as well Pinball Joe and Jack Danger among others. Hopefully we will be able to get a few Twitch streamers to set some speed runs on the pinball games. Maybe I’ll have a second chance to record a “Rule the Universe” on Attack from Mars with a 2.5 Billion Dirty Pool shot on camera. Or, maybe more wacky hijinks will happen like this:
This was also the event that had the most unbelievable exhibition of Tetris: The Grand Master.
