‘Pinhead’ is not a derogatory term in the Bay Area anymore. Pinball enthusiasts have embraced this nickname in the contemporary pinball renaissance in which machine manufacturers have significantly upped their game, more and more venues are featuring pinball machines, and the number of pinball leagues in the Bay Area has tilted up to nearly a dozen.
