The opposite of a Cradle Separation, this move is used during multiball to bring two balls together on the same flipper.

Rocking the Cradle means to shake and nudge the machine so that the balls slide down to where both balls are resting on the flipper.
During Multiball, while two or more balls are cradled on the same flipper, a player taps the flipper lightly so that one ball is freed while retaining control of the other ball(s).
During Multiball, when a moving ball hits a ball that is cradled and causes both balls to be out of the player’s control.
