Occurs when a player tries to make a comeback on the last ball and fails to pass the opponent’s score by less than 1%.
New Pinball Dictionary – Bubble Boy
The player who is currently the highest ranked player below the cut line in a pinball competition (for example: 17th place out of 16 qualifiers).
New Pinball Dictionary – Gatekeeper (player)
The person who is currently in the last qualifying position at a pinball tournament (for example: 16th place out of 16 qualifiers). The Gatekeeper must be sure to rigorously defend the position or work quickly to move higher in the standings.
New Pinball Dictionary – Gatekeeper (concept)
In games with a wizard mode, it is the one requirement that is much harder than all the others. It is usually the one you complete last before achieving the Wizard Mode, making the other requirements not as relevant.

When a player shoots a spinner so well and so cleanly that they exaggerate their excellent shot by playing air guitar on the game. More spins of the spinner mean more air strumming by the player.
