While visiting a certain friend, and while working on a certain pinball game that was to be used at a certain major pinball tournament, I decided I wanted to play Indiana Jones. I also wanted to avoid the typical best practice of paying the main multiball you are supposed to play repeatedly. Instead, I wanted to have more fun by starting the modes only to see how well I could do. (Also, no Quick 2-Ball either)

The kryptonite to this is that most Indiana Jones games have a mode saucer that sometimes will not accept the ball when you make a good shot at it. Fortunately, this particular mode saucer kept most if not all shots made without bouncing out! Some real magic going on with this saucer! Actually, it was some well-placed dampening material at the back of the saucer to help deaden the ball.

I found that I stumbled into the main multiball once due to a mode specifically ending in locking the ball and accidental defensive moves that happened to land in the lock. After some draining, I got back to the modes again.

I came within two top lanes of getting the Eternal Life Wizard Mode Billion. The sound choreography of an end-of-ball bonus counting up the totals from 10 modes was particularly satisfying.
