Commentator’s Curse

• The propensity for unfortunate pinball things to happen to The Player immediately or soon after a commentator refers to how well The Player is performing
• The Commentator’s Curse is as powerful as you believe it is. Some believe that mentioning the Curse helps to mitigate its power. Others will try to mention bad things that could happen in hopes that the Curse will reverse itself and cause good things to happen instead.
