5-7-3 Take Highest Score! [Police Force]

Pinball, Video, Gameplay, Tournaments, Williams, FWB Appearances

It was supposed to be impossible. Well, not impossible, only highly improbable. What is it? Shooting 8 consecutive right ramps on Police Force pinball when you get one chance to take the highest score. Which really means adding the highest score onto your own. I believe District 82 Pinball Arcade set it this way as a method to keep the game in tournaments without that volatile score-stealing factor, in addition to putting some thick rubbers around that center ramp (IYKYK). However, the score-steal is still in play, technically.

The extra challenge for me was I needed to do it while starting the ball in last place. I must have these 7 match points to keep pace in the standings at the Summer Pinball Classic (as you can see in the upper left part of the video). After I had worked my way to third place, I was able to send a ball up the ramp to get the Jackpot which I had just lit. Usually the game would hold the ball for the Jackpot presentation, but it didn’t because I has also started the “take highest score”, last chance attempt. Fortunately, I realized I was in it, and it was showtime, just as the ball had reached the left inlane from the habitrail. I needed to LOCK IN for the remaining 7 straight ramp shots.

Here is a time when I could definitely say I was “LOCKED IN” or “IN THE ZONE” while playing pinball. At District 82 Arcade, it’s me vs. Police Force with the “TAKE HIGHEST SCORE” challenge set to 8 ramps in a row. Also, JACKPOT is lit. 8 consecutive ramps needed to win the game. @district82pinballarcade @foxcitiespinball

Because I was asked afterward, I had to make sure to say that I didn’t make the now second place’s score ZERO. No one *lost* any points. I just added that score onto mine. 😊
