This is an intelligence briefing by Princess Angela from somewhere inside Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland.
I’ve become weary of The Mechanic teasing you with his Shop items, so I’ve decided to give you the inside information.
I have uncovered the Atomic Shop items that may be offered by The Mechanic when you visit his underground lair. After reading this, do not reveal to The Mechanic that you already know of his items and current ticket pricing scheme. Please be advised that these ticket prices are subject to change. Quantities are limited to one item, per person, per visit, and that not all items are available at all times.
I’ve also heard a rumor of something called “Tournament Mode” where The Mechanic will offer these Shop items in a specific order, but I have not been able to confirm this as of yet. I’ll need more time to manipulate this information from him, and I will give you another update when I have made more progress.

Increases your bonus multiplier by 1
Additionally useful when you are already at maximum Bonus X.
Increases your bonus multiplier by 2
Doubly useful when you are already at maximum Bonus X.
Buy this if your Magna-Save Space Gun energy is running low.
Your Space Gun is your weapon. It’s only for defense though.
Don’t leave your left flank open! If you are able to stack up
to three kickbacks in reserve, why not buy another one.
Severely increase your bonus multiplier for a bargain price!
Triply useful when you are already at maximum Bonus X.
Do you have a “Collect Bonus” award ready?
Instantly advance the Doozie to the next Super Spinner round. This comes with the same side benefits of any Super Doozie round. Get closer to maxing out that Doozie!
Purchase this for a quick scoring pick-me-up! It’s 20 seconds of double scoring! Playfield multipliers are multiplicable. However, you won’t be able to refill the Power Surge outside of the Shop, so strategize accordingly.
Are you feeling a bit insecure? Maybe you’re on the verge of something big and want some insurance. Here is 20 seconds of invincibility for you!
Complete the lower lanes and light the Blast-O-Ride save on the right outlane if you haven’t used one this ball. There is a rumor that The Mechanic is thinking about lowering the price of this item.
Upgrade the Playfield for 20 seconds! Get moving and score big!
Buy a turkey! Not a bird. A bowling turkey. This instantly awards 3 strikes, advances 3 frames, and scores points (but not tickets) for those frames. If this advances you to frame 10, Bowling Frenzy starts immediately when the ball exits the Atomic Shop.
You can pay to cause Drac to come after you. That sounds strange, but there’s a very good reason why you might want to do that.
What’s better than a little insurance? How about a little more insurance. However, it will cost you more. Better insurance usually does cost more. Will you pay it?
Buy this to instantly complete A-T-O-M-I-C and start the next Atomic Feature. This costs the same whether it’s for all 6 letters or just one. You must decide whether it’s worth it.
Upgrade the Playfield more dramatically for 20 seconds!
Do you have something big lined up?
Purchase this to instantly complete the current spelling of Z-O-M-B-I-E. Just like the A-T-O-M-I-C item, this costs the same whether it’s for all 6 letters or just one. Decide whether it’s worth it, or if you are better off doing it yourself.
Severely upgrade the Playfield for 20 seconds!
Will you “Spray and Pray” or are you ready to cash in?
Have you run out of warnings? Yeah, sure. You didn’t even touch the game. Anyway, do you want to “Lose One Whammy” or is the price too rich for your blood? You are allowed to have more warnings that what you had when you started.
The Mechanic might offer you a Points Award. A straight up trade of your tickets for points at 25 points per ticket.
What’s the catch? This trade will always cost you all of the tickets you have brought into the Atomic Shop at the time. ALL OF THEM. This is an “ALL-IN” move. You will not be able to buy other items with the Points Award, and you will leave The Atomic Shop broke.
These are sample amounts shown here. The Mechanic may be ready to trade any amount of tickets you have, up to as many as you can hold at once. It would be advantageous to bring a playfield multiplier into the Shop with you …
|“I believe there was one more item at the end of the list. What was it? The Mechanic said to bring as many tickets as possible to find it …”||“Bring me all the tickets you can carry, and that last item may appear … You’re not going to tell anyone this information are you?”|
