It was thought that the 24-Hour Final Battle was over when the announcement hit that there would be no event this year at The Sanctum.
“Not so fast, my friend!” —Lee Corso

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Final Stand 24h Pinball Tournament Brings
Legendary 24-Hour Format to Funspot
Laconia, New Hampshire — NEPL.LLC, Funspot, and key players from the 24h Final Battle
are proud to announce The Final Stand 24h Pinball Tournament, taking place from 10:00 AM
on November 7 through 10:00 AM on November 8 at Funspot, located at 579 N. Endicott
Street, Laconia, New Hampshire.
The 24h Final Stand builds on the legacy of the Sanctum’s Final Battle 24h Pinball
Tournament, widely regarded as one of the most memorable and demanding competitive
pinball events ever created. For ten years, the Final Battle brought players together for a full 24
hours of endurance, skill, chaos, and unforgettable pinball moments. While the tournament
earned its reputation as an all-time great, the tremendous energy required to organize and run
the event eventually led The Sanctum to step away from hosting it.
Rather than allow ten years of pinball history, tradition, and glory to come to an end, key
veterans of the 24-hour Final Battle pinball stepped forward.
Enter The Final Stand.
The 24h Final Stand pinball tournament will carry forward the same format and rules that made
the Sanctum’ Final Battle such a beloved and respected tournament. The biggest change will be
the setting: the event will now take place at the legendary Funspot arcade in Laconia, New
Hampshire.
Located down the street from Weirs Beach on scenic Lake Winnipesaukee, Funspot offers an
ideal new home for the 24-hour tournament experience. With more games, abundant space,
ample parking, the Braggin’ Dragon Restaurant, and the D.A. Long Tavern, players will have
everything they need for a full 24 hours of competition and camaraderie. As an added perk,
participants will also have access to the entire American Classic Arcade Museum to enjoy
between rounds.
The 24h Final Stand promises to honor the past while giving players an unforgettable new
chapter in competitive pinball — including the chance to win cash, test their endurance, and
earn their name on the Swain Cup.
The tournament will be limited to 100 open player spots, with a small number of additional
spots reserved for VIPs, including the current champion, members of the 10x Club, and special
guests of the hosts.
Registration, pricing, and additional tournament details will be announced soon.
