For some reason, Jersey Jack’s The Wizard of Oz was in the tournament. Did that game get some sort of software update that makes it tournament worthy, and I missed it?

Sometimes things really sneak up on me. It’s time for the ninth season of the Jersey Pinball Association PinGolf Tournament. The prize pool has been reset and we are ready to build a new one for Spring 2013.
Pinball News has just posted a post-mortem of the tournament by Łukasz Dziatkiewicz, President of the Polish Pinball Association. This, as far as I’m concerned, makes him the president of Poland.
Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Silverball Museum in Asbury Park, NJ from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Free play on over 200 machines, silent auction, prizes including a pinball machine.
Long story short: I chopped enough wood to qualify for both the Open and Classics division finals. A big reason why I prefer competing in Herb-Style tournaments is because you need just one great game on each pin at some point during the qualifying round to make it to the finals.

The IFPA 9 Final series continues with Daniele Celestino Acciari vs. Cayle George on Attack from Mars. During this, we get to see Daniele set up and attempt to collect the “Big Four” AKA the “Fast Four”.
Four-hundred flipper fanatics will ensure that this year’s Pinburgh competition will rival the PAPA World Championships for the most competitive event in pinball.
