Retro Ralph at Stern Media Day. (Who’s that guy on the right side of the screen?!)

Retro Ralph was invited to the Stern Pinball Media Day for the newly revealed Pokémon Pinball. See what happened at the event and how the game was revealed to us. Scan the differences among the trim levels of the Pro, Premium, and Limited Editions. Although, by this point you might just have to look at what you could have had on the LE, because those things are GONE! Well, at least those games are reserved and sold through. This video guest starred “Pikachu” and almost guest starred “Optimus Prime”!

Find out if he is going to get one for himself. He said he wasn’t. But he also said he wasn’t going to get the game too many times to NOT get it. I predict that he’s definitely NOT not NOT not going to get it.

For some reason, I was also thinking about where I am standing off camera during many of these clips. It caused me to view this video feature in a different perspective than usual. I don’t know why I did that. I have been around other events where creators have produced feature videos. Maybe because this video is well edited, it took me from a third-person to like a 2.5-person perspective.

Video description by Retro Ralph:

“Pokémon Pinball by Stern Pinball is officially here, and I attended Stern’s Media Day at the factory to get hands-on with the machine. This brand-new Stern Pinball release, co-designed by Jack Danger and George Gomez, brings the biggest entertainment IP in the world to modern pinball, and expectations could not be higher.

In this video, I break down my full experience playing Pokémon Pinball at Stern HQ, including my first impressions of the layout, shot flow, gameplay speed, and overall design philosophy.

Is this Stern Pinball’s next massive hit? Did they build something special here?

In this review, we cover:
• Gameplay, flow, and shot layout
• Pro vs Premium vs LE differences
• Accessibility for new players vs depth for enthusiasts
• Theme integration and use of the Pokémon license
• Early code impressions and replay value
• How it compares to recent Stern releases”
