However, what other word would be good to promote? I mean, The Who’s TOMMY had the word ‘wizard’ on lockdown.
Exactly! Four lights that DON’T DO ANYTHING! Wheel of Fortune could have been so much more. That upsets me, and it’s the inspiration for this video.

In case you missed it, pinballer Steve Zahler helped to give the sport of pinball some real publicity recently. First, a New York Post interview. Then, Steve went to New York and did a great live segment on pinball on Good Day New York (Fox Channel 5 in NY area).
In games with a wizard mode, it is the one requirement that is much harder than all the others. It is usually the one you complete last before achieving the Wizard Mode, making the other requirements not as relevant.
This remix of Pinball Wizard doesn’t suck. I’d rather hear something like this as the music bed whenever some news station decides to do a special interest piece on pinball. If they are going to break out Pinball Wizard for the hundredth time, at least make it not that same song again.
