I asked the newly minted 2012 Canadian Pinball Champion, Sanjay Shah to play a game of STERN’s X-Men Magneto Limited Edition so that I could get a video of it. Zeus Manolis, the 2012 Toronto AC/DC STERN Launch Party Champion, also allowed me to tape a qualification attempt on the game.
First of all, let me start off by saying that I am going to forget some of the fantabulous stuff that happened during the last two days of the tournament. Luckily, I remembered to take at least some photos to help me remember what happened.
We’ve completed the first day of qualifying for the NW Pinball Championships. Each and every game set up there basically has it’s proverbial middle finger stuck up at you in defiance. It’s our job to use our pinball skills, and some lucky bounces, to score despite the difficult settings.
Well, last time it really was on with Donkey Kong, because there was a Donkey Kong high score challenge along with the main pinball tournament. This July, the Canadian Pinball Championships will return!
