I am pleased to report that I have been invited to contribute on papa.org, the newly remodeled website for the Professional & Amateur Pinball Association. Some articles on this site will be posted on that site as well. So be sure to visit papa.org consistently for all of your competitive pinball needs.
I figured that my first offering for papa.org should be tournament related since PAPA is a premier place for tournament pinball. The following video shows you what can happen if you set your tournament games a little too difficult for competition play.
Submitted for your analysis is some footage of a Brooklyn Pinball Championship event where we used Avatar as one of the games.
Presenting: “That’s Pinball: The War of Attrition”
Mind you, we still had fun at the event even though the game did those mean and nasty things to us. Certainly it’s because we were in a bar, where there is beer available (I didn’t have any though, but I still had fun, too).
While you are here, check out: “That’s Pinball: There are Four Lights!“
