It’s pinball Kickstarter watch time again. Chris Akin of Pennsylvania has started a Kickstarter project for funding towards the opening of the Pennsylvania Coin Operated Hall Of Fame And Museum.
Among other things, I am thankful for PAPA.TV and Modern Pinball NYC. In that spirit, here are my collectible coins. Let me show you them.
There are less than two days left in the timeshock! Kickstarter. Since they have successfully reached their funding target, it’s on to the stretch goals.

Thanks to over 900 backers, the Pro Pinball Kickstarter has just crossed over the £40,000 goal. timeshock! is a go!
LOCK IS LIT is a documentary about pinball in the tradition of single subject serials from the fifties, taking a niche subject and explaining it for a wider and more diverse audience than it’s homegrown fanbase.
Ron Hallett shows many of the improvements the PAPA has made to the facility. Some of this was due to the PAPA TV Kickstarter financing.
Pro Pinball released a clip of the Time Travel sequence for timeshock! ULTRA Edition. Doesn’t it look like you just finished doing something unbelievable?

This time Pro Pinball have a more realistic goal of just Kickstarting a remastering of timeshock! for right now. This means they also have a more manageable funding target of £40,000 (about US $61,000).
Museum of Pinball released a video in support of their Kickstarter effort. Imagine if a budget, Storage Wars/pseudo-reality show was done by pinball people complete with the interstitial confessional segments to bracket the dramatic action.
Museum Of Pinball envisions a total of over 120,000 square feet of pinball and arcade games near Palm Springs, California, and they want to use Kickstarter to help them accomplish this goal.
It looks like they are ready to try again with a new strategy. The Pro Pinball Kickstarter that was attempted (unsuccessfully) back in September 2012 will return this July, 2013. However, this time the project is under the name, “Pro Pinball: The ULTRA Editions”.
