Museum Of Pinball envisions a total of over 120,000 square feet of pinball and arcade games near Palm Springs, California, and they want to use Kickstarter to help them accomplish this goal.
The first stage: a 40,000 sq. ft. museum of pinball.
The renovation of a 40,000 facility that will include a massive arcade with over 500 vintage and modern pinball machines.
Stage two: Trailer hotel and RV Parking facility.
Develop a retro trailer hotel with 20 refurbished Airstreams and 1960s recreational vehicles, each decorated uniquely. Imagine the adventure of staying in a vintage trailer with modern amenities – all just steps away from a 40,000 square foot arcade. Plus, the option of parking your own RV as well.
The final stage: 80,000 sq. ft. museum expansion.
There are an additional 80,000 square feet of buildings on the property, and we will be leasing out this space in the short term until we are positioned for expansion. They envision even more vintage pinball machines, vintage arcade games, and exhibits of historic interest.
If the Kickstarter is successful, they plan to open the facility in January/February 2014.
