As the ball is travelling down the inlane, the player flips and holds the flipper just as the ball reaches the joint between the flipper and the bottom of the inlane guide.

An aggressively defensive move used to prevent the ball from travelling straight down the middle.

This is an advanced form of the Cradle Separation.

A flipper move that is used to pass the ball across the gap from one flipper to the other. This move is used when the ball is moving too quickly to be controlled on the original flipper, but not quite fast enough to reach the other flipper without assistance.
