Sponsored by the Professional and Amateur Pinball Association, the event drew roughly 500 players, Dorssers estimates. She had to compete against a pool of about 50 in her division to reach the top of the heap.
“When you make the ball do what it’s supposed to do, it’s kind of magical,” she said of her own brand of pinball wizardry.
