Just making it through the whole event (at The Sanctum) (receiving, as we all did, a medal for endurance) and knowing I was now, however slightly, “on the circuit,” represented a major step in my feelings about myself as a competitive pinball player. I bought a PAPA Circuit t-shirt as another commemoration of that; I would not have felt comfortable wearing such a shirt before I actually played in a circuit event, even as a huge fan.
