A Sound Mind: David Thiel

I just haven’t been able to wear headphones to listen to other music while playing pinball. I want and need the sound to set the atmosphere, tell the story and warn me of danger. I think the only times I’ve worn heaphones while playing pinball is to plug in into a Pinnovators audio setup so I can hear it in more detail.

From the video description:

Go behind the pinball design scenes with the PinGame Journal as Sound Designer David Thiel explains and shows the incredible detail that goes into modern pinball machines. We focus on three of his five projects for 2016, JJP’s The Hobbit, Multimorphic’s Lexy Lightspeed and Heighway Pinball’s Alien.

Fun With Bonus is the home of the semi-coherent, misguided ramblings of professional and amateur pinball players.
