Karl DeAngelo does … whatever he needs to do to arrange a perfect run on the Soul Gem Quest. This quest keeps track of the number of flips you have remaining and awards points based on that. So the more flips you have left, the more you score.
But, if you do some Infinity Gem, Avengers Levelling Calculus before that, shoot accurately, and get a fortunate bounce or two, you can end up with 84 flips remaining for the Soul Gem Quest.
