Spinnage
The amount of spinner rotations on a well-placed shot.
A shot has more or less spinnage based on how much or how little the spinner spins after the player makes a clean shot through it.
Examples:
- Grand Prix is more fun when both orbit shots have lots of spinnage.
- You might see a player doing a Pete Townshend after hitting a shot with high spinnage.
- Even though that spinner is lit for 1,000 a spin, it doesn’t have much spinnage so it’s still not worth very much.
- I like playing Scott Charles‘ classic STERN games because he makes sure they have good spinnage.
