Making it rain!

Making it rain!

It will be here sooner than you think. Remember those changes to certain gaming rules to allow skill based games a place on the casino floor?

Here is a recent update to the status of two skill-based gambling games. The one most relevant to my interests being the pinball one of course.

Gaming expert, Steve Bourie, speaks with Steve Riesenberger, Creative Director at Nanotech Gaming about two new skill-based video gambling games they will be introducing in the future. The first is Vegas 2047 which is a video pinball game and the second is CasinoKat which is similar to Pac-Man. They discuss how the games work, how they compare to skill-based slot machines, how to bet on the games and how skill affects the betting aspect of the games.

According to the demonstration video, these games are due to be available for live play in about 6 months or so. Which probably means about a year and a half in realistic, human non-marketing time. Can you play well enough to tip the odds in your favor?

Will you try your skill at this game? Remember, there is a reason why all of those casino lights are bright and the drinks are free.

(It’s because most of us will be losers in the end.)
